Derek was born and raised in Central Florida. He went to the University of Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. After graduating in 2017 he began his career as a paraplanner.

Derek is a firm believer in thorough and thoughtful planning, which brought him to the team. With that being said, the value of an advisor to Derek is to know you have someone immersed in your planning and investments while you, the client, are enjoying your life and spending your valuable time doing what you love the most.

Derek is an avid fisherman and has been enjoying fishing the Florida coastline from the day he was able to walk. Derek has always been a very outdoors-oriented person and enjoys all things near the water with his family.
